Janey flew into Palma de Mallorca Airport, and could taste the hot kerosene air as she left the plane. It’d been raining in London, dull and greasy, and the stylish black spring dress that was loose at Gatwick was soon clinging to her like a gluey shroud.

She’d never see London again.

It's 1989 and three London girls go on holiday to Spain, staying in a Mallorcan villa with a ghost, the Goat Girl.

The villa, the Finca El Oso Salvaje, belongs to Rachel's uber-wealthy father Harry. Chloe and Janey join Rachel at the finca before Harry is due to arrive a month later.

Rachel and Harry know the ghost as Lily and regard her as harmless, but Harry calls the Finca El Oso Salvaje the house that eats women.

Love a go-go is a wild Freudian ghost (and love) story.

Born in the East End of London, Steve Pear played guitar in Dresden Fun and was the instrumentalist/producer for the Big Animals, two lost East London punk/post-punk groups, along with playing guitar in other punk bands, including the early 4-Skins.

He subsequently went into digital development, coding and design. He wrote the now ubiquitous open source Tipue local search engine.

He lives in North London.
